These amazing kids!

Kids today are quite difficult to handle as compared to the kids of earlier days. Probably, due to the fact that they are exposed to the gadgets at an early stage. No wonder kids start watching TV or videos in smart phones right from their first birthday. These kids can embarrass the elders the way they operate the mobile phones and explore the features. Parents also conveniently leave their kids with the smart phones so that they do not disturb them. Incidentally we can see every member of the family busy with their mobile phones. Continue reading

Sitting on a railway platform and watching the arrival and departure of the trains is the best pastime one can have. At least for this, one need not have the smart phone or the internet. Since you don’t have to catch a train, you can sit relaxing, perhaps sipping a cup of tea and watch passengers rushing for their seats. The hawkers, the porters, the movement of trains, all make it a carnival like atmosphere around. I enjoy this dynamic atmosphere a lot. Continue reading

Being a father is definitely the most beautiful and blissful feeling and becoming father in the middle age is a heavenly thing. As per the unwritten norms of our society, marriage for a male generally takes place somewhere between 24-28 years and for a female between 21-25 years. Though the question appears bit unorthodox, looking at the current socio-economic environment, its relevance cannot be undermined. Though marriage is an institution, there is no compulsion that everyone should attend it. With the quantity of divorces on the rise and the domestic crime graph touching zenith, the belief in this institution is slowly thinning.
