the cost of hesitation

and the differences continued

and we never spoke for ages

the binding string that was so strong

slackened and popped out of all gauges

the hearts continued to Hesitate

and the tainted tongue tied to its core

the mind blackened out with egoism

the futile cold war asking for more

I should got converted to, why I should

why me first, eclipsed all hopes of reunion

the days disappeared and years passed by

the memories too faded into oblivion

now when I look back to haunting past

I realise what cost I had paid for my ego

all that precious moment for togetherness

how foolish and idiotically we let them go
